A co-presentation between Vancouver New Music and VIVO Media Arts Centre, this year’s festival features three local guest curators working in different communities and artistic practices to shape the festival line-up and direction: Reylin McGrath, Dylan Robinson (TBC) and Anju Singh. We’re excited to offer this festival as a platform for meaningful dialogues and sharing within current sound and musical practices.

By bringing together these curators from different backgrounds, the festival will provide an opportunity  for their unique voices and stories to come together in a space where we can explore differences and connections between communities and practices that are often under-platformed and fragmented. We hope this year’s festival will support, make visible and value different forms of knowledge, while offering space for marginalized identities and experiences in our community and challenging patterns of inequity.
