Come experience Chambercon! A co-production of Redshift Music and Vancouver New Music, Chambercon is a contemporary chamber-music extravaganza featuring premieres of work by an eclectic collection of Canadian composers including John Burke, Justin Christensen,Wolf Edwards, Ava Grayson, John Korsrud, Colin MacDonald, Giorgio Magnanensi, and Rita Ueda.

Enjoy performances by rising Vancouver ensembles including Ethos Collective, Cordei, NOVO Ensemble, and Duo Verdejo. As part of this four-hour chamber music extravaganza, VNM presents VNM Panorama, a new work by Giorgio Magnanensi for large ensemble and electronics that celebrates Vancouver New Music’s 40th Anniversary season! Performed by Ethos Collective, with Negative Zed and members of the Vancouver Electronic Ensemble, VNM Panorama weaves themes and ideas from VNM’s musical past into an aural panorama. The Ethos Collective also performs innovative interpretations of works from VNM’s repertoire. Co-presented by Redshift Music and Vancouver New Music.
