Notes from Sasha J. Langford:
In interpreting this score, I focused on the tensions between warmth and sharpness in the textures and the colour palette, as well as the definition between the multiple visual layers of the image. Using soft synths and digitally-manipulated acoustic piano and voice as my instruments, I responded to the presence of repetition and variation of density in the score through associative and figurative associations with sound.
